This two-story mixed-use building, with residential units on the top floor and a restaurant below, is located along the Colonial Beach Boardwalk along the Potomac River. With a fast-paced construction schedule, we have worked closely with the contractor to revise detailing to allow for quicker construction and to adjust the foundation construction to accommodate the existing foundations discovered during construction.

Solution: Providing quick and practical solutions prevented the need for the costly removal of the existing foundation.
