This one-story adaptive reuse transformed a warehouse into an automotive shop. The existing wood framed roof and masonry wall structure was not tall enough to accommodate the lifts and equipment for the new owner, so new steel roof framing and columns were introduced at the center of the building to support a new roof and brace the existing masonry walls.

Solution: Preserving most of the original building, we were able to reduce the extent of new materials needed and created a space that allows the owner to operate in the same way they would in a new building.
